Dinamico Dubai is an Italian restaurant the has been open for around 6 months now and is located in the DIFC area. It is not in the Gate Village though but instead is nestled in the residential building Sky Gardens. They pride themselves on providing diners with an experience of authentic, simple and traditional flavors, guaranteed to transport them to the blissful regions of Italy.
Of course, I had to try it for myself to see if their claims are actually true. So me and my friends all headed to the DIFC area one evening and it was as a matter of fact very easy to find and they have ample slots for parking.
The restaurant is a bit small inside but the outdoor seating offers more space to move around. It was a great night and the weather was perfect so we sat outside. From here, you can see the buildings surrounding the place and you also have a big area to walk around. We’ve been told that they hold barbecue Saturdays here which I think is the perfect way to spend your weekend.
Anyway, when we arrived, we were greeted by Olga who was very accommodating and bubbly and explained the menu to us and gave us her recommendations. We also ordered a few items that we think is good but generally, we just let her choose the food for the night.
We started with these fresh juices and then, of course, I think as a general rule in Italian restaurants, they gave us freshly baked bread and authentic spreads. They were really good and set the mood for the Italian dining experience.
Next up was the burrata and beef carpaccio which I absolutely loved and I would definitely come back to the restaurant just for that.
And then we had the risotto, pasta, pizza and the very colorful and tasty sea bass. The mushroom risotto looked so simple but as they say, looks can be deceiving it was really delectable. I think I enjoyed it more than the pizza and the pasta. It’s that good, to be honest.
One thing that I also liked about the restaurant is their use of these cute utensils and colorful tableware. I went inside to check and I love the products that they are selling and the way that they just arranged everything. It was very homey and considering that they are in a residential area, I think residents would feel like it’s an extension of their home too.
We finished our meal with a couple of desserts and I must mention that I am obsessed with their ice cream. I ordered one for myself but my friend who said he doesn’t like ice cream tasted it and ate everything by himself so I had to order one more. The other desserts like pannacotta and apple tart were just ok, not that great.
Overall, I genuinely got a charge out of the dining experience that we had at Dinamico DIFC. It’s just a perfect place to enjoy the food, the ambiance, the weather and of course the great service. For Italian food lovers and for anyone who just likes to try the best of Italian home style cooking, Dinamico is definitely the place to be. The quote on their website perfectly describes the experience that you’ll have when you dine in there.
“We welcome you as strangers, we serve you as family and we say goodbye like old friends.”
