Ramada Beach Hotel Ajman is a 4-star property located in the heart of the Arabian peninsula. It is conveniently situated near other popular hotels in the city and is the perfect place if you’re looking for peace, quiet, tranquility and the ultimate getaway from the busy streets of Dubai.
I have been overloaded and exhausted with work and reviews so I decided to head out to Ajman to enjoy some me time and be pampered for a few days. So I booked a hotel stay in Ramada Beach Hotel without any expectation but hoping to have a relaxing time.
Upon checking in, I was already impressed by the warm hospitality of the front office staff. Although considerably small compared to the other hotels, Ramada Beach Hotel boasts of their excellent levels of true Arabian hospitality. I packed light for this so I didn’t really need any help with my things but they insisted on helping me which I thought was great.
To set your expectations on the hotel facilities, I have to be very honest and say you cannot compare it to other modern hotels. By all means, it’s not glittery or glamorous as the ones you see in Dubai but it definitely has this warm and homey feeling of being at home which was what I was longing for.
When I entered the room, I was impressed with how clean and spotless it was. There was a welcome fruit basket and a plate of dates on the table and the room was huge enough to fit a group of 4 or 5 or maybe more.
I love that they have a balcony too that offers an elegant city view and a spectacular sea view overlooking miles and miles of water for when you feel like just sitting outside. At this point, I already had a feeling I will have a great time here.
The weather was perfect so we decided to head out to the beach and enjoy the warm sunshine. I was fascinated because although it was a public beach, they have their own space for the hotel guests and they always make sure that the loungers are clean and in order. There are also water activities available on the beach but this is handled by a 3rd party company.
Anyway, we did find our own space and enjoyed a few hours under the sun. For the first time in a long time, I can honestly say that I truly enjoyed just doing nothing and sleeping in the comfortable loungers offered by the hotel. We only came back to the hotel when it was time for lunch at their specialty restaurant, King’s Grill.
When we finished eating, we went upstairs to explore the facilities. They have an indoor pool complete with sauna and a steam bath plus a gym. On the other side was the spa which offers various relaxing treatments. I tried their 4 hand massage and to read about my experience, click here.
After the session, we went back up the room to rest for a bit more before having dinner. And since I have never tried the Salt in Kite Beach because it’s always full, I was very happy to find out that there is a branch near the hotel and we spent the rest of the night eating here.
I slept like a baby that night and I love how the bed and the pillows were so snug and comfortable. The next day, I woke up early to have breakfast at Flavours restaurant. It was so busy but I managed to find a seat and I ate to my heart’s content and enjoyed the delicious breakfast. Like other hotels, they have a live cooking station for when the buffet offerings are not enough and you want the chef to prepare something for you. I asked the chef to cook an omelet for me and it was just perfect.
I then headed out to the beach again and did the same thing. I had a great time and I was just grateful for the experience. Sometimes, in our busy lives, we tend to forget that once in a while we need to relax and have the time for ourselves. The serenity that I got during my stay in Ramada Beach Hotel in Ajman reminded me just that and I hope other people can experience it too.
During the course of the 2 days that I stayed in the hotel, I noticed that they don’t need the promotion because they are always fully booked. Having experienced their hospitality and the cozy room and the pleasant staff, I understand why people keep on coming back to Ramada Beach Hotel Ajman. It’s certainly like your home away from home.
I highly recommend a stay in the hotel to relax and make time for yourself once in a while. I for one will definitely make it a point to come back every now and then to make sure I don’t drown myself in the hustle and bustle of the city life.
I’ll end this review with a quote from Richelle E. Goodrich saying “One day a week I seek to rest from earthly toil and sorrow. Revitalized, I find the strength to battle new tomorrows.”
