Nadi Al Quoz is a communal pop up that you can visit if you feel like working away from the office. It is located at the heart of Alserkal Avenue, the region’s foremost arts and culture neighbourhood.
The place is the ideal venue for multi-disciplinary public and private events. Inspired by a Zen garden, Nadi Al Quoz is meant to inspire comfort and creativity, engendering a spirit of community and creative growth for all members of the community, both corporate and independent.
Nadi Al Quoz opened in July of 2016 but I have only discovered it today. With a total area of 2,776 square feet, it can host up to 150 people seated and 200 people standing. They also have audio visual equipment that includes a projector because a lot of events take place in here like game nights, movie screenings, workshops, talks and presentations.
If you’re interested to know more about the program for the upcoming weeks and months, click on this link. Almost all of these events are free to attend and you just need to register your attendance.
I’m sure you’re thinking, is there even a shop to buy some food and the drinks? Well, you’ll be pleased to know that there is a small Spill the Bean coffee shop inside so you are sure to get that coffee fix and that sandwich to give you the energy that you need for the day.
The space is open daily from 10am to 7pm but be sure to check first if there is any event happening on a certain day. This is definitely the perfect spot to compose those articles or that blog that you’ve been meaning to write and you can absolutely draw some inspiration from the peaceful and quiet surrounding. I’m actually already thinking of writing my next blog post while sitting in a hammock or probably in the suspended bed. 🤔
