On March 1, 2017, the brand new La Ville Hotel & Suites at Citywalk Dubai will officially open its doors to the public. Boutique elegance awaits discerning guests and last night, thanks to Monica of DoinDubai.com, we were entitled to a preview of the hotel and were treated to an overload of food and drinks in all of their four restaurants.
La Ville Hotel & Suites is the first hotel to grace City Walk, a new urban living destination in Dubai. The distinctive low-rise property offers a unique and relaxed vibe amongst the metropolis of the city. We started our exclusive preview at their rooftop lounge aptly called Lookup Bar.
The setting was nice with unparalleled views of the Dubai skyline and the Burj Khalifa. The pool is also here but with the freezing weather this time of the year, I don’t think it’s a good idea to actually swim in it.
I’m sure in the morning, nothing beats this spot. We were served some bar snacks and a choice of cocktails and mocktails and just enjoyed relaxing on the comfortable couches and chairs.
Throughout the 5-star boutique hotel, stylish, iconic architecture celebrates open spaces, providing a sociable setting for guests to meet and mingle or simply a refreshing place to breathe.
Next stop was the chic all day dining venue at the lobby called Chival. In here, we had a selection of dishes from the lights, wood fired and slow cooked sections of the menu. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in both indoor and outdoor setting which by the way is absolutely stunning especially at night. The Californian style space is also accessible via the actual City Walk Mall.
For the food, Chef David Schaumburger prepared for us appetizing salads, prawns, pasta and their prime burger.
We also got to try distinct juices such as turmeric and charcoal. It was one of a kind and I feel is very unique to Chival.
To end our culinary immersion, we went to their Gastro Grill restaurant, Graze. Chef Pablo Dominguez prepared a selection of signature desserts along with coffee and tea. We only tried the desserts here but they serve a variety of contemporary dishes in a modern, relaxed setting as well.
In conclusion, I was really impressed at the culinary immersion that we just had at La Ville Hotel & Suites. Their service is just of top quality as well as the food and the overall experience. I am sure that when they open, it will be successful and the hotel will always be fully booked. With the uncommon but easily accessible location and superior interior and design, this boutique hotel will easily be liked and for sure will be the talk of the town.
