Rixos Premium Dubai, the lifestyle destination hotel located on the JBR recently unveiled their Friday brunch at the all day-dining restaurant, Turquoise starting from the 4th of August 2017.
Guests are invited to indulge in a one of a kind culinary journey through a sumptuous array of Middle Eastern, Turkish, Mediterranean and Far Eastern flavors.
I assumed it was a fun brunch and as soon as we entered the hotel and not even the restaurant, we can already hear the fun sounds coming from downstairs. True enough, it was really fun inside when we finally went inside.
Since I have just visited a few weeks ago, I already knew what to expect when it comes to the setup but to my surprise, they added a lot of elements to the brunch. For example, there are more food stations distributed across the whole restaurant, they have welcome drinks and sweets upon arrival, more variety when it comes to food and they added entertainment with the inclusion of the live band.
The whole brunch was a lot of fun and I don’t think there’s much to talk about with regards to the food as I have already talked about it in my previous review of Turquoise and you may read it via this link.
I think I just need to point out that there are some stand outs during this specific afternoon. I really enjoyed the seafood station as the fish and prawns were really fresh and cooked perfectly. Also, the shawarma sushi once again is a must-have as well as the meat which I believe they are famous for.
I also have to mention the great entertainment provided by the band and by the singer, Gari Deegan. I believe they’re introducing a new singing concept, the Singing Waiter, who serenaded guests with original songs as well as classic rock and pop covers. They sang really good songs both new and old and some are just nostalgic and their renditions were fascinating.
All in all, the brunch at Turquoise is one that I would without a doubt recommend. Just a few suggestions from me would have to be a more systematic process when receiving orders in the live station because we had to follow up a few times when we placed our order and maybe they could add more activities for the kids because I saw a lot of families dining during that time. Other than that, it was amazing and I loved the whole experience and it seemed like everyone’s enjoying their job so kudos to the whole team.
If you’re interested, the Turquoise brunch starts at 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, with rates starting from AED 270 per person inclusive of soft beverages and AED 370 per person inclusive of premium beverages.
